Massive relief and rescue efforts continue at Gayari sector in Siachen.
Another priority point has been added to the search and rescue work which is under way at already five identified points. According to ISPR rescue operation has also been launched at a sixth point on pin pointing of experts to retrieve the trapped persons.
A four hundred and fifty meter long access track has already been developed in the avalanche while work on another access track is in progress to expand the search operation. Fifteen dumpers and heavy machinery is being used to expedite the operation.
Meanwhile‚ pictures of some of the soldiers who came under the avalanche have been put on the website Ispr.gov.pk.
