In Sindh, floodwaters have inundated several areas of Daddu and a warning has been issued to the residents of Johi and Mehrr after a flood tide entered tehsil headquarter Khairpur Nathan Shah due to the Torri bund breach.
According to PTV correspondent, floodwaters have also entered some areas of Mehrr, K.N.Shah and Johi following breaches in M.N.V. drain, Khudawa and Johi embankments. And in Thatta, breach in S.M.Bund, has inundated many areas of shah Bandar besides Sajawal and Jaati. In view of the emerging flood situation, Choharr Jamali has been declared the most sensitive zone. Torri bund breach has raised the water in Hammal Lake to a danger level.
