In Saudi Arabia, one person has been shot dead by security forces at a demonstration.
According to reports, the man was killed when police opened fire to disperse protesters in the town of Al-Awamiya. Police said they were monitoring an unauthorised gathering in Al-Awamiya when they came under fire from masked men.
