Five bills were tabled in the National Assembly on private members day today.
Fakhar-un-Nisa Khokhar and Marvi Memon introduced the Pakistan Penal Code Ammendment Bill 2010, to further Ammend the Pakistan Penal code 1860. Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho and Yasmeen Rehman introduced the compulsory blood test of the relatives of Thalassaemia patients bill, 2010.
The purpose of the bill is to provide compulsory blood test for relatives of Thalassaemia patients. Malik Shakir Bashir Awan introduced the code of criminal Proceedure Ammendment Bill 2010. The bill seeks to provide speedy justice to the citizens.
Fakhar-un-Nisa Khokhar introduced the Prisons Ammendment Bill 2010. The purpose of the bill is to establish boarding house in prisons for the children of women prisoners to educated them. Shakeela Khanum Rasheed introduced the General Clauses Ammendmen Bill 2010. The bill seeks to further amend the general clauses act of 1897.
