Parliamentary secretary for food and agriculture Liaquat Ali khan today told the national assembly that the Punjab seed corporation is providing ten thousand tons of certified seed of wheat to Balochistan.
He was responding to a call attention notice by Muhammad Usman and others. He said that one thousand two hundred tons of seed has been dispatched to Balochistan while the remaining stock will soon be sent to meet their requirements.
Later the house resumed debate on the presidential address to the parliament. Taking part in the debate, Haider Abbas Rizvi congratulated the President Asif Ali Zardari for his address to the parliament and giving guidelines to the government on various issues. The house will now meet at ten, tomorrow morning.
